Fall Greetings to all our customers !

(From our legal department)
We are happy to report that Capitol City Bolt & Screw is compliant with recent government regulations concerning the use of CONFLICT MINERALS within our supply chain.

If you are one of our many suppliers... please know that we care about: our customers, the law , the environment AND the Democratic Republic of Congo ... therefore we will NOT tolerate or accept any materials (for re-sale) containing CONFLICT MINERALS (see specific details below).

If you have any knowledge to the contrary, please contact us.  We will treat your information with the strictest confidentiality.

   Thank you.

Disclosing the Use of Conflict Minerals

In 2010, Congress passed the Dodd-Frank Act, which directs the Commission to issue rules requiring certain companies to disclose their use of conflict minerals if those minerals are “necessary to the functionality or production of a product” manufactured by those companies. Under the Act, those minerals include tantalum, tin, gold or tungsten.
Congress enacted Section 1502 of the Act because of concerns that the exploitation and trade of conflict minerals by armed groups is helping to finance conflict in the DRC region and is contributing to an emergency humanitarian crisis. Section 1502 of the Act amends the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934 to add Section 13(p).

Growing with Nashville !

Good afternoon Capitol City Bolt & Screw customers !

With Nashville's explosive growth, let me share some telecom news for our local (Nashville) customers:

"New 629 area code will overlay existing 615 area code"
Beginning Feb. 28, 2015, all phone calls in the 615 area code will require 10-digit dialing, according to the Tennessee Regulatory Agency.
The change comes a month ahead of an added 629 area code overlay, which will be put in place on March 28, 2015 as all of the numbers from area code 615 are depleted.
The 629 overlay will be the first for Tennessee's six area codes. With the proliferation of mobile phones, computers, readers and security systems using dedicated numbers, area codes across the country have been running out of capacity. There are currently more than 70 area code overlays either in place, pending or planned in North America and the Caribbean.  What will remain the same?
• Your telephone number, including current area code, will not change.
• The price of a call, coverage area, or other rates and services will not change due to the overlay.
• What is a local call now will remain a local call regardless of the number of digits dialed.
• You will continue to dial 1 + area code + telephone number for all long distance calls.
• You can still dial just three digits to reach 911.

211, 311, 411, 511, 611, 711 or 811 are currently available in your community you will still dial these codes with just three digits. "

BOTTOM LINE:  After Feb. 28, 2015 - all local callers will need to include our 615 area code before dialing 254 8707.

Thank you in advance,
Capitol City Bolt & Screw Co., Inc.

Good Afternoon good customers !

We are now happy to report that we've resolved the last of our telecommunication problems from our vendor change (from AT&T to COMCAST Business) !

As it turns out, there was a "conversion problem" at AT&T that was affecting a small number of our customers (who were calling from phone numbers managed by 3rd Party Re-Sellers of AT&T services).  It took some time to sort out, but we now have things corrected -AND-  everything is back to normal.

JUST A REMINDER - These are the multiple ways that you can reach our sales team:

by phone: (615) 254 8707
     fax:      (615) 242 1535

Good afternoon Capitol City Bolt & Screw customers !

In an effort to stay competitive in the marketplace, we made some changes to our telecommunications vendor (as of last week - 10/27/2014) from AT&T to COMCAST BUSINESS.

This change was supposed to be invisible to our customers... however it has come to our attention that a few customers cannot get an answer when calling our main phone number (615) 254 8707 !?!

If YOU are having this problem while calling us on a land line... then please phone us again from your cell phone and report this to us.  You may also report a problem to us via e-mail at:

Apparently, COMCAST BUSINESS must do some one-time programming for some phone carriers.

Meanwhile, we apologize for ANY inconvenience this may have caused ... and please always know that we are here for YOU !!!
